FAQs about Titanium Frying Pans

NanoBond is the most durable cookware on the market thanks to advanced technology and innovation that protects it from the usual wear and tear issues seen in cookware. It’s a unique, patented titanium based nano-technology that produces thousands of super dense and durable metallic layers which bond to the stainless steel, thus sealing it in and protecting it. It is a process never before seen in professional cookware. The molecular titanium surface is 400% harder than stainless steel and extremely resilient against things like scratching, staining, pitting and high heat oxidation. The surface is 100% toxin free, ultra-smooth and non-porous so it releases food and residue with ease compared to traditional stainless steel.

This technology enables you to use things that usually degrade/ruin other cookware like high heat (safe up to 1,050°F), metal utensils, dishwasher, nonstick cooking spray, even a grill. NanoBond is chemical free, extremely durable, and resistant to staining and scratching, which results in lasting beauty, along with superior performance.

ProBond and NanoBond have a similar tri-ply construction with 18/10 stainless steel as the interior/cooking surface and our exclusive aluminum ProCoreTM. Where NanoBond differs is that the 18/10 stainless steel is further protected by thousands of molecular titanium nano-layers that create an incredibly durable and impermeable surface that is 400% harder than stainless steel and ultra-smooth.

Our best stainless skillets are prized for their durability and versatility. They can withstand high temperatures and are excellent for searing, browning, and deglazing. These large skillets are also non-reactive, meaning they won’t impart metallic flavors to acidic foods like tomatoes or wine.

Yes, one of the benefits of our induction skillets is their compatibility with metal utensils. The titanium fry pans can handle the use of metal spatulas, spoons, and whisks without the risk of scratching or damaging the surface.

Titanium fry pans are particularly good for cooking proteins like meats and fish, which benefit from the high heat capability of the skillet for browning and searing. They are also excellent for sautéing vegetables, creating pan sauces, and deglazing, as they can handle the high temperatures needed for these cooking methods without warping. Foods that require a quick response to changes in temperature are also well-suited to stainless skillet due to its excellent heat conductivity.

Reviews

Best I have ever owned

"Everything about my frying pans is way above anything I expected. Order and quick delivery was flawless and easy. My husband is our breakfast cook and the pans are superb. I do believe the best pans I have ever owned in my life. I can even cook an over easy egg without making a mess and winding up with over hard or scrambled. Highly recommend."

Elizabeth J. (5/5)

Nanobond works like a dream!

"I got the 8. 5 and 11-inch nanobond skillets and they work amazingly! Absolutely no trouble whatsoever in my day-to-day cooking. It retains the heat so well from my gas stove, it really just functions so effortlessly. My only nitpick us that it is a bit on the heavier side, I don't mind it but it might be a turn off for others. 5/5 stars."

Sean B. (5/5)

Nano-bond lives up to the hype

"I'm honestly surprised at how well this pan lives up to the hype. I purposely tried to over cook an egg in order to compare it to my carbon steel pan, but the egg lifted off the pan with ease. It heats up quickly and evenly, making fish super easy as well. What's more, clean up was way easier than normal stainless pans. I wiped off everything with a paper towel. I'm honestly ecstatic with this pan and am in the process of replacing my existing set with more."

David T. (5/5)

Bought this as a gift

"Bought this as a gift for my husband. We both enjoyed it a lot. Very light and durable. Also looks pretty. Used it many times for cooking different meals. Easy to clean and handles well. Good investment and results in tasty meals!"

Home A. (5/5)

Loving it so far and tempted to add to my collection!

"I relented after my husband had been begging me for years to purchase Hestan cookware. I caved and purchased our first piece, a 3qt titanium nanobond Essential pan. I am trying hard not to use typical non-stick cookware, and the nanobond technology is what convinced me. The curved bottom is perfect. I use this pot for day to day Indian foods, such as dals, curries etc. I really hope Hestan releases a smaller sized wok, it would be a perfect piece to build my collection."

Nerali P. (5/5)

Consistent performance, sustains its finish well

"The pans are expensive but my early impressions are that they are worth it. They perform well, they're *actually* dishwasher safe (not like Made In/All Clad), and they keep their finish well. I can't say for certain that I will, but I am hoping to use these pans for decades, not years, and early returns suggest that I may be able to do that, so I am happy with my purchase and would recommend these to others who are looking for BIFL products."

Marcus G. (5/5)

Classy, Functional, SOOO Good!

"Wow, this pan is just a HUGE upgrade. The difference between frying an egg in a stainless steel skillet vs this is actually quite the difference in non-stick effectiveness. Using the same settings, this Nanobond is heating much quicker. Using just beef tallow, eggs unstick MUCH easier and cleaner too. Ordinarily this pan is waaay out of my budget, but I'm so lucky that they had the 20% off Spring sale!"

Mike L. (5/5)

A gorgeous frying pan

"Love this pan, it’s the nicest I ever had and by far the the best one to fry eggs on. Easy to clean and after a couple weeks of constant use, still looks like brand new."

Michael P. (5/5)

I love this cookware

"I love this cookware. I really appreciate that they are not too heavy. Hand washing and using Hestan’s cleaner keeps my pans looking like new. Conducts heat beautifully on my induction range. Nanobond is an investment but so worth it. I’m so happy with my purchase!"

Susan H. (5/5)

Best eggs I’ve ever cooked.

"Best eggs I’ve ever cooked. There is definitely a technique. But they came out fluffy, and cooked evenly. They seemed to tase better as well."

Q&A

I'm looking to buy a 22cm Nanobond pan, but they haven't been in stock in for months now. Do you know when they'll be in stock?
The 22cm Nanobond pan is expected to be back in stock during the first week of December. Since are added to the wait list, you will be notified as soon as the item becomes available.
Ciao hestan! I’ve been looking into your pots and pans, and had a tough time to decide which to go for. However I have decided for the nanobond titanium, but it’s sold out and have been for now two weeks I think. Do you have any idea about when they would be back? In the meantime i looked into your other pans again, and I’m not convinced about the copperbond, I think visually they look great but for me it seems like they don’t have quite the same qualities as the nanobond titanium… am I right to assume that or what could you tell me about the copperbond that might make me decide for that and spend the extra money it? Many thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing back :)
