How to Clean NanoBond Molecular Titanium Cookware

With 14 global patents and the highest standards in the industry for fit and finish, NanoBond Molecular Titanium cookware features thousands of titanium-based nano layers bonded directly to stainless steel cookware. The resulting super-dense cooking surface ensures the brilliant titanium luster lasts for generations. In fact, NanoBond is 400% stronger than typical stainless steel cookware and resists scratching, staining and salt pitting.

Why is NanoBond different than other stainless steel cookware?

Traditional stainless steel clad cookware is porous and prone to staining. When heating other stainless steel pans with oil, the metal expands causing the oil to fill the pores which results in staining and oil buildup.

NanoBond is comprised of titanium that completely seals the stainless steel resulting in a completely smooth, non-porous surface. Oil and food buildup simply sits on the surface of the pan, and is easily removed with warm soapy water or our Professional Stainless Steel Cleaner

How do I clean my NanoBond cookware?

Before first use and after each use, wash pans thoroughly with mild dishwashing detergent and warm water. For day to day cleaning, you may simply use
warm soapy water and a soft scrubbing sponge to clean your pan. For more stubborn food residue, you could also use steel wool as this won’t scratch the NanoBond surface. Never use oven cleaners to clean cookware. They will ruin your cookware.

Sometimes after cooking and cleaning, my NanoBond has bluish/rainbow discoloration.
Is this normal?

NanoBond technology protects the stainless steel by creating a dense, impenetrable layer. When the technology is working, you may experience a slight discoloration or bluing of the pan. This is normal and very easy to remove. It’s a food film residue caused by high heat, oil and trace minerals in the food you are cooking. It appears cloudy on stainless steel but more colorful on NanoBond due to the mirror-like impenetrable surface.

You can restore the titanium brilliance every time with a little stainless steel cleaner like Hestan Professional Stainless Steel Cleaner. The surface is so resilient, even tough stains like polymerized oil or high heat oxidation can be clean like new, dish after dish.

To restore the brilliance of your NanoBond cookware, squeeze a small amount of our Professional Stainless Steel cleaner onto your pan. Using a dry paper towel work the cleaner over the surface, sides, and outside of your pan; concentrating on any areas of discoloration. Rinse the pan with warm water and thoroughly dry to prevent water spots.

Is NanoBond Dishwasher Safe?

Yes, NanoBond is truly dishwasher safe. Hestan encapsulates and seals the rims of the pans in stainless steel to help protect splitting and delamination that can happen in professional kitchens. No aluminum is exposed.
