Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon, 2 lemons if icing is desired
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 6-8 tablespoons powdered sugar if icing is desired

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Hestan OvenBond Square Baker.

  2. In a Hestan Provisions Large Mixing Bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.

  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture, and whisk until smooth.

  4. In a separate Hestan Provisions Medium Mixing Bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  5. Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice until evenly incorporated into the batter.

  6. Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to overmix.

  7. Pour the batter into the prepared Hestan OvenBond Square Baker and spread it out evenly with a spatula.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the blondies are lightly golden brown around the edges and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
